Problemic Methods in the Semi presential Teaching of Microbiology for the Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Introduction: Blended learning constitutes an educational practice that requires a transformation in the methods and means for the teaching process and the evaluation of learning. The E curriculum is characterized by student protagonism and autonomous learning, interdisciplinarity and the use of active teaching methods.
Objective: To expose the experience in the use of problemic methods, in the semi presential teaching of the subject microbiology in students of the bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences at the Universidad de Oriente.
Methods: The methodological conception was directed to the design of integrating exercises, considering the most relevant and significant aspects of the knowledge system, as well as the weaknesses detected in the evaluation system of the subject.
Conclusions: The use of active teaching methods in the blended learning modality promotes self-learning and intellectual work of students with the integration of different areas of knowledge for the solution of problems related to their profession.
